EMILIA JANSSON, Founder (2023-)
Emilia Jansson is a Swedish architect who founded a new practice in Paris in 2023, after previously being co-founder and partner at Septembre Architecture (2010–2023) and working as a project manager at Hardel Le Bihan Architectes in Paris (2009–2014) and EXH Design in Shanghai (2007–2008).
Emilia earned her Master of Architecture from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden (2007).
Emilia’s practice explores architecture as a common ground, questioning the spatial conditions that enable collective life without predetermining its forms. Her approach is rooted in the archaeology of places and a close reading of their contexts. Her work engages with existing, everyday architecture, its inherent qualities and its capacity for transformation.
